definitely saturday was prom.

probably it was the best dance of my life

good thing too, because it was the last :(

don't get me wrong i love love loveed all the other, well some more than others, dances as well.

but my senior prom was just perfect.

it started out with the typical pictures in the yard....

i really love this picture of dad and his girls.

and i really love my nathan palmer

then we went to todd heaps house in las sendas to take photos.

this is where my date goes.

he was late because of his state tournament.

he lost which was a little bittersweet.

good so he was only 30 minutes late instead of 2 and half hours, 

bad because, well, he lost.. 

then he got there! yay :)

thennn we reinacted the door scene

and then took pictures with my favorite people.

like steph.

i seriously love her a lot.

then our parents took billions of pictures of us...

so fun!

don't worry, we hiked out to those super pretty yellow flowers to get pictures. not a problem

i had an orchid for my corsage. probably my favorite corsage ever.

then a limo came to take us to dinner!!!

and yes, prom was at Lavender and Lace this year instead of Stone Bridge manor.

then we had our night activity back at todd heaps.

and we hung out on the roof

and took cool silhouette pictures with the moon

pretty much it was the perfect prom ever.

we had a couple car issues... but were back on the road going 15 miles an hour! yay.

for real. quadding, shooting clay pidgins and a yummy lunch in strawberry.

couldn't be better.

PROM is going to be so fun.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

FYI:

it is APRIL. April 5th to be exact.

i looked at the calender today. 

ya know, in the month view 

and noticed something quite frightening.

umm hi, my name is rachel, and i GRADUATE in may...

EXCUSE ME!

no way. no freaking way. i have a million things to do that i said i would do before i would graduate back 3 years ago when i was a baby squashmore.

i can't graduate in less than 2 MONTHS!! no way! i haven't accomplished haalf of the things on my 'High School Bucket List' i suppose you could call it...

if you haven't noticed. i am a little stressed.

the life i have known for my whole life is going to end and i am starting new. 

brand spanking new.

am i ready for this? 

no. 

yes?

ahhh half of me is so dang excited and ready to get out of high school but the other half thinks i am crazy. the truth is i am going to miss high school!

i have to be responsible. not procrastinate. and be mature. 

wait, whats that?

i don't know if i am ready for this new change.

i mean i am superr excited for college... don't get me wrong.

but i'm not.

ahhhh. this is how i feel.

okay, enough college ranting and stressing.

i met 3 guys from Holland today!

they were running around the track during practice and i heard them speaking a language i didn't understand or recognize, so it couldn't have been like german, spanish, or french,

sooo when they were taking a little break i went up and had a little conversation with them. 

it was fun and they have cool accents.

no, their faces weren't super attractive (i know you're all wondering, because i mean foreign boys! whooo) but they were built. and when i say they were built... they were.

our american boys need to do their work outs if you know what i meann.

but it mean it was a disappointment that they were not like foreign boys are supposed to be. 

which is attractive

but it was fun to talk to them i guess.

they are learning how to be pilots at Falcon Field.

umm hi come visit me. i live less than a mile away from there!!

but thats all i suppose.

today was a good day.

what a weekend...

this weekend was fantastic to say the least.

thursday night i hung out with some of my favorite people and played the Beatles rockband and uhh loaded questions at the rocks. loaded questions was pretty funny because we were all so tired but just fun. loved it.

friday was a great day off school and we found bridesmaid dresses for tara's wedding on our first trip out. lucky us. me and jess have the best dresses and they are darling and coral colored...ish.

friday night i went to the easter pageant with the family and the SNELLS because they decided to show up for the weekend! love them. rylee and corrie make my life. and i love the easter pageant. i am going to miss that big time next year.

saturday was amazing. conference was good as usual and then we had some intense wallyball playing with all the women while the men were being spiritually uplifted at priesthood. it was intense and the single ladies, me tara and rylee, beat the old married women, moms julie steph and jessica stoker... fun stuff.

after priesthood was the real party though.

me and jess took on tara and josh in a Just Dance tournament.

yeah, we killed 'em

so they got tired of loosing and so we all just got all four controlers and set out on a mission to play all of the songs in a row with no more than a 30 second break.

josh weaseled out and went to go work out early on but me tara and jess did it.

yes it too 3 WHOLE HOURS.

and yes we were tired and exhausted beyond comprehension. 

but we did it.

and it took soo long. 

but we felt so accomplished so it was definitely worth it.

we finished and crashed on the couch.

seriously you should try it sometime.

its more tiring than  you would believe.

and and i am not even as sore as i thought i would be.

and confrence today was awesome.

loved it.

next time i watch conference i'll be in college.

but today is april fools day.

I LOVE APRIL FOOLS DAY!
i don't know why but it is just so fun!

it just makes me all laughy and happy all day.
i love it. so much. it like you get to joke around all day and no body thinks you're weird or have an execcive amount of energy because it is what you are supposed to be like on April Fools DAy! fool! kidding. but good thing all my amigos can take jokes. or else this would not be a good day. but it was a good day. so thanks friends!

today i went to Crackers and Co for lunch with my momm.
loved it.
the food was yummy and i just looove my mom.
i will miss her when i am at the Y.
serious.

and i went to the easter pageant last night.
i am going to miss going to that a lot a lot when i don't live down here. seriously. love the pageant, hate the parking.
i had to walk probably 15 minutes.
worth it, but not fun all by myself...
and if you haven't gone to the pageant yet.. GO! i love it and you'd love it. okay cool. done deal.

and tomorrow is no school and i am going bridesmaid dress shopping with mom moms, ter, and jess.
