ricky is dead

yep.
died
and if you dont know who ricky is, he is a long time member of the schlappi family and graciously has provided transportation for the schlappi teenagers all the days of thier high school lives.
but, here is the sad story

it starts out on uh, thursday morning and i am on my way out the door to go to school of course.
where else.
anyway so am early because i am trying to be a responsible adult who is still in high school, and get everything i missed from being sick the day before.
yeah, failed attempt
now ricky doesnt really like to start on cold mornings but he usually pulls through and will be there for me.
unfortunately on thursday... he won the fight and did not start.
i know right? sad.
but whats the big deal?
i had no ride to school is the big deal and i have to go to school because i have 8 absences is the big deal.

mom was at yoga, dad was at work, and tara was at work.
grrreat.
so i called gool ol' marissa stoker, shelley buckhannon, and meghan peifer. all of them, to my dismay, had already left to school so i was out of luck.

sooo here is the sketchy part.
the man who was working on our water heater or something, i am not quite sure came over to help me.
i thought since he was like a mechanic and all he could help me or something.
apparantly not.
i bet he made it worse.

he offered to take me.
weird?

oh but... to make a long story longer...
i noticed my sisters car was still in the driveway!
score.
now i didn't have to ride to school with a man i didn't know, ter could save the day!
so i called her up and she said, wait i am at work
and i said, wait, how is that possible?
and she said, oh wait, i lost my keys. if you find them you can take my carro (yes, corn syrup)
so i looked for like 5 minutes and they were no where to be found

then i go back out into the freeezing cold and the man offers again to take me to school.
and i guess being my mothers daughter i trust him not to kidnapp me and he takes me to school.
sketchy.

but... i got there right?
and only 2 minutes late!!
