track is officially over.
yep, the state meet was yesterday.
and i am done.
forever.
its kinda a sad thought if you think about it. something i love and have a blast doing and perfecting i will never do again. its not like i can just set up some 15,000 dollar pits with my 400 dollar poles and 5,000 dollar runway anywhere now can I? its not like soccer, basketball, tennis, football or any of those kinds of sports where you can just get a bunch of people together and play. and its not like running where you can just go run when your 70 either. weird.
and i didn't cry after my last vault like i did for soccer on our last game. maybe because we ended on a loss and pv ended on a good note? ha i don't know. or maybe i was just a baby back then... who knows.
but it was definitely a great 3 years.
recap
i went to state all 3 years.
i met some girls i will never forget and some friendships i'll have forever.
i learned things i will never learn any other way
i learned how difficult pole vaulting can be and how its mentally the craziest sport out there.
i learned how stupid my senior class is because i was deffinitly the only senior girl and there are definietly 5 juniors. they will never know how lucky they are
and most of all i had some AMAZING times and made hilarious MEMORIES, with some of my favorite people.
all three years i spent with ashli bear, lindsey pew, and chandler willman. man, i love these people to death.
i'm gonna miss spending 5 hours everyday with my fellow pole vaulters. a lot.
but it ended well and i'm trying not to dwell on the negative side of things. because we all know there always is a negative side.
this picture rocks.
and these are pretty much my FAVORITE people on the planet
i love these girls a LOT
i do not remember which meet this was... but this is me clearing 9'6. yayy...
well!
i went to Crackers and Co. with my momma, grandma, and vall for lunch... and i loved it.
i highly recommend the blackjack burger :)
also, shout out to my lovely cousin lindsey snell whom i love dearly but sadly i will not be able to make it to her wedding in cali on saturday. its the second half of state. but i still wish you the best and love you!!
tomorrow's friday.
can i hear a hurrah!
and and in exactly 2 weeks i will be sitting with my fellow classmates on the toro football field waiting to walk.
ahh!
