sad

Okay so I really told myself that after my super sad snow post that I would write about something happy... BUT... something legitimately sad happened!!

Ready?

I my laptop broke.
Yes, BROKE.
It is broken.
All I did was put in August Rush to reward myself for being productive and cleaning my room, the kitchen AND finishing my homework all by 6 o'clock, and the next thing I know is the screen is black. and just stays that way. Forever and ever.
I think it's Karma for playing Free-cell during Biology...

I am already going through major withdrawals and it has been 21 hours. I think I would rather have my cell phone break than my laptop. I now have to do ALL my homework in the library and have to find a way to recover my journal and all my pictures... somehow.

What am I supposed to do when I want to Google something?? Use a World Book?? I am pretty sure the Library doesnt even have those anymore...
Or what about when I need to find a recipe for a yummy dinner? Use a recipe book? So much inconvenience.

Good thing Josh is so good with computers. He'll fix it for me over thanksgiving. Either that or I pay someone too... which is definitely against my religion.
So in the meantime I will live in the library. And wait for Thanksgiving to come... 26 days from now.

But hey, the snow stopped and the weather feels GREAT! I am only wearing a sweater. No jacket, just a sweater. Brave I know... but I am getting better :)

Rachel, knowing you I don't know how you are surviving. But I want you to know that I have a BIG LESBIAN CRUSH ON YOU! I really hope someone is reading over your shoulder right now in the library and sees this comment.

Oh, Rachel, I feel your pain!!! I don't know how to function without a computer (with internet access) anymore.
