OCTOBER

Alright. October has officially been so great to me! really. I know millions of people always love October and I have always been like nah... it smells like gross fertilizer all month... but i LOVE it as of now. But probably just because lots and lots of good/fun things have happened all month! I know, amazing. I am loving this month.
Ready?

October 1st

  • I got my first A on a college test!!! YES YES YESS!!
  • I went on my first date at college. I know, weird. It was a blind date though... so its not like the dude probably actually wanted to go with me... but it was still fun!
October 2nd
  • GENERAL CONFERENCE STARTED. I love it.
  • Thenn Me, Emily, and Markie drove up to Emilys house in Bountiful.
  • I ate a home-cooked meal. I miss those Big Time.
  • We made s'mores, hot tubbed, watched Glee, and fell asleep to Italian Job. A great Friday night.
October 3rd
  • More conference and more home-cooked meal. Need I say more.
  • And and... We LIVED. And seriously almost got in a super scary car crash... See pictures at the end of post
October 4th (aka Today)
  • I took a nap. Love those
  • My biology teacher let us out a whole hour early!! I love that class...
  • It rained. And when i say rained I actually mean POURED. Me and Chandler had a ball in the rain. While everyone was running inside me and chandler sat outside and chatted as we watched the wind and rain and listened to the thunder. It was great. Then we went to my home and made some hot chocolate and chicken. Yum. But I loved seeing him and running through the rain with him today! That kid just makes my life :)
  • And this day will continue. We are having homemade root beer and pizza tonight for FHE....like I said. October rocks.
Anywayy... Isn't October just being the greatest!? I love it! And if this month continues to be this great I will just have to jump on the I Love October bandwagon.

Oh, and now for pictures on my near death experience...
Here's the story.
So we were driving along the freeway and some car ran over a big like 3 foot long metal thing and flew up it smashed into our windshield!!! It was seriously SO scary. And we are so lucky it didn't go through the windshield... or I'm sure we would have caused some sort of a major accident...

I'm alive. And I love life.

I guess I can agree that it was not a "major accident" since there were no injuries...but it's majorly smashed! It is really a miracle it didn't come through and hurt you guys! I've always loved October (partly b/c we're too lazy to put in winter lawn so we don't stink of fertilizer) but fall is my fav season. I love the smell of the air, kicking it off with conference (I now drive very slowly over speed bumps and don't let my cows eat wheat) and then it ends with a big dress-party. What's not to love about that? Glad you are OK!!!

I love October because it finally gets under 100 degrees some of the days in October! I was sooo hot after helping Ryan & Steph shovel rocks on Saturday that I jumped in the pool with ALL my clothes on! 108 degrees! Give me a break! They are planting grass in their front yard and it's a super crazy agonizing job to dig all their rocks out of their dirt. So, this morning the door is open and fresh cool air is blowing in - hallelujah!

In October I miss Kentucky every single year. We used to love driving around in KY and seeing the fall leaves. Miss that here every year!
