snow, man?

Um hi, Rachel here.
I think I'm transferring to ASUseless
The thought of becoming a Scum Devil is haunting but I might just have to make the sacrifice.
It's just wayyy too cold here!
I'm serious!

My roommates make fun of me, but I guess I really AM a Mesa girl. I'm just not made to withstand this kind of weather! It is 43 degrees and it is 4:15. It snowed on my way home from class. SNOWED. My class ended at 3 in the afternoon...
Yeah, I thought the weather men were making some sort of sick joke when I checked the weather this morning...
but they weren't. It's real.

There are snow on the mountains.
The wind is blowing.
I can't feel my face, hands, fingers, toes, feet, legs.... okay who am I kidding... I can't feel anything

I want to cry, but I am afraid the tears will freeze to my face.
Okay joke, I don't want to cry, but I am serious about the freezing to my face part...

See this car?
Yeah, this is how I feel.

Life was just peachy. Life was grand. Life was awesome and couldn't be better!! But then this weather had to come and rain on my parade.
Mesa... I never thought I'd say this... but I. am. HOMESICK.

I miss the sunshine...

You make me laugh! I remember while at BYU Idaho how I froze. My hair would freeze between swimming class and the next class - literally - you could break it in two it was so frozen! I lived in my big coat with my scarf and my hood that went to my knees and then my boots that came up to my knees so nothing was showing. At Ricks, the snow stayed on the ground for a very long time, I would walk between 2 walls of snow on a regular basis; BUT, at least I came from Utah at that point and my blood wasn't quite what your Mesa girl blood is like.... where did you find that picture??? Too funny
